PRODUCT PRINCIPLES

Practice the real world.Do not simulate a scoring system.

The product may record what truly happened, but it must not turn children into data, family life into performative assignments, or the household into a performance system.

Read the six principles

Six principles we will not compromiseSix principles we will not compromise

These are not brand slogans. Every feature, sentence, and data structure should honor them. Each principle marks a design boundary.

  1. Real life first

What is genuinely happening comes before performative educational tasks.

    LIFE > TASK
  2. Children are participants

They receive roles, information, and age-appropriate choice — not only instructions.

    ROLE + CHOICE
  3. Rules before evaluation

Clarify resources, boundaries, and outcomes before judging behavior.

    RULES → JUDGMENT
  4. Evidence is not a score

Practice evidence supports reflection, not rankings, labels, or personality prediction.

    EVIDENCE ≠ SCORE
  5. Help and retries belong

Negotiation, repair, recovery, and another attempt are part of practice.

    HELP + RECOVERY
  6. Family is not a miniature corporation

Keep real mechanisms while adults control intensity, risk, and recoverability.

    REAL + PROTECTED

WHAT WE WILL NOT DO

Three explicit “no” statements

They help the team make fast decisions when a feature becomes complicated.

  1. No scoring

Do not turn practice evidence into an ability score.

  2. No surveillance

Do not judge a child through continuous status, duration, or location.

  3. No manufactured tasks

Do not keep producing staged situations for the sake of education.
